Three-Dimensional Wheat Modelling Based on Leaf Morphological Features and Mesh Deformation

چکیده
The three-dimensional (3D) morphological structure of wheat directly reflects the interrelationship among genetics, environments, and cropping systems. However, complexity limits its rapid accurate 3D modelling. We have developed a modelling method that is based on progression from skeletons to mesh models. Firstly, we identified five parameters describe leaf features amounts digitizing data at grain filling stage. template samples were selected similarity between input skeleton templates in constructed database. was then performed using as-rigid-as-possible (ARAP) deformation method. found individual level, group, plant scales can be achieved. متن کاملRapid three-dimensional surface mesh segmentation based on region dilation
Three-dimensional laser scanned surface segmentation is an important step for computer-aided broken objection patching. Current methods still have high time consuming problem in practical applications. In order to solve this problem, we propose the rapid three-dimensional (3-D) surface segmentation based on region dilation. The procedure includes three steps of point cloud meshing, candidate re...
متن کاملPreserving Form-Features in Interactive Mesh Deformation
Interactive mesh editing techniques that preserve discrete differential properties are promising to support the design of mechanical parts such as automobile sheet metal panels. However, existing methods lack the ability to manipulate form-features and hard constraints, which are common in engineering applications. In product design, some regions on a 3D model are often required to precisely pr...
متن کاملThree-dimensional cardiac computational modelling: methods, features and applications
The combination of computational models and biophysical simulations can help to interpret an array of experimental data and contribute to the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases such as cardiac arrhythmias. For this reason, three-dimensional (3D) cardiac computational modelling is currently a rising field of research. The advance of medical imaging technology over the las...
متن کاملOn the importance of modelling organ geometry and boundary conditions for predicting three-dimensional prostate deformation.
The use of an ultrasound probe or a needle guide during biopsy deforms both the rectal wall and the prostate, resulting in lesion motion. An accurate patient-specific finite element (FE)-based biomechanical model can be used to predict prostate deformations. In this study, an FE model of a prostate phantom is developed using magnetic resonance images, while soft-tissue elasticity is estimated i...
